The Tamil film trailer featured many action scenes between Lalettan and the tiger and also shows the glimpses of the climax portions in the film, which is considered as the USP of Pulimurugan. Though the Malayalam trailer featured only a couple of action sequences, the Tamil trailer has a different story to tell. The one minute and thirty-seven long trailer featured Mohanlal in a never seen before avatar. Interestingly, Tamil Pulimurugan will have a 3D release, unlike its Malayalam and Telugu version.
